Do you have a project that needs all the visibility it deserves? Do you want to talk about it in an impactful and convincing way, but are struggling with finding an effective way to promote your story?
Visual Storytelling is going to amp up your message in a big way!
No less than 99% of people are visual thinkers. A photograph, a drawing and even more, a moving picture form a huge magnet to our attention. We see something visual or something visual that is moving and we instantly are curious what is going to happen.
Imagine this, you are talking about your project and at the same time let a self made drawing do the magic. Every complex detail in your story becomes clear to your listeners in a blink of an eye. Instant engagement is created. Your story is making an impact!
Did I say ‘self made’? Yup, I did. In this workshop I am going to teach you in a very practical, step-by-step and mostly fun way how you can draw your own story. In just a few strokes of your marker and looking professional. We are going to practice how mind mapping can help you develop a picture in your head that you can draw in a simple way, which material and colors work best and how you can finish your visual story during the real time conversation.
It's going to be a two-day workshop. We are learning from each other’s work and practicing a few things at home, to discuss together on the second day.
People that cannot draw don’t exist with visual storytelling because you are doing something else than drawing. You are sharing your information in a new and inspiring way!
Target audience
Everybody that is interested in the power of visualisation, drawing and visual story telling. No experience needed. An open mind is a big plus.

Program
Monday, December 2nd, 17.00-21.00
We are going to use mind mapping for your visual story and we are learning how to draw important symbols in a few strokes. By the end of this day I am going to give you a simple assignment to put into practice at home.
Monday, December 16th, 17.00-21.00
We are doing a short recap about the first day and what you have been practicing at home. Then we are adding text and professional details to amp up your visual story.
Your trainer
Your trainer is Pauline Buth and she works as a business cartoonist and brainstorm facilitator. In the past as a Marketing Manager, she used herself made drawings during meetings, presentations and brainstorms. Why? Because she saw an instant change in her team’s dynamics when they saw a live drawing in front of them, with them being a part of that drawing. They saw they were a part of a shared story! With her company Colorbomb she does all sorts of things with drawings: live sessions at events, guiding brainstorms, trainings, video productions, promotion material, murals… So you see, visual story telling plays a big part in the world nowadays. The fun part is, everybody can learn it and use it for their own story!
