Training overview

Are you agile yet? This training will give you background on agile and will give you fundamental knowledge of the Scrum framework – allowing you to prepare for the Professional Scrum Master (PSM) I exam. This PSM I certificate is widely recognized as a key qualification to participate in a Scrum team. But even if you will not be ‘scrumming’, the agile principles – with their foundation in LEAN – will provide you with tools to increase your success in reaching objectives and have fun on the way too. The exam and the personal coaching are voluntary.


Target audience

For those work in/with a Scrum team or want to learn about agile & Scrum. Maximum 12 participants.


Learning objectives

  • Awareness of the origins of agile
  • Learn how agile principles can increase your productivity, predictability, and quality
  • Demonstrate a fundamental knowledge of the Scrum roles, events, artefacts, and the rules that bind them together in the Scrum process, as described in the Scrum Guide.
  • Understand common agile challenges and how to cope with them

Evening 2: Wednesday, 2nd October 2024, 17:00 – 21:00 hours

  • Scrum Roles
  • Agile Estimating with exercise
  • Scrum Events
  • The power of visualization: from Kanban board to burn-down chart
  • Sharpening the saw: how self-organizing and cross-functional teams keep improving
  • Exercise in roles & responsibilities
  • Self-study of the Scrum Guide and PSM I exam (optional)


One hour of personal coaching (optional)

The course comes with one hour of online personal coaching which you can schedule with the trainer of your choice. You can use this hour to help you further explore / get comfortable with agile principles – for example to discuss how agile would work best in your situation or just simply to get clarification on exam questions you’ve been practicing but don’t understand.


Your trainers

Jacques Dunselman is a passionate private pilot and agile leader. He brings his insights in aviation and extensive international experience together to provide a unique view on Leadership. He enjoys sharing his experience through conferences and trainings.

Jurgen Bluemink is an agile leader and enjoys making an impact in local politics. He has experienced the benefits of coaching leadership in managing international and multi-cultural teams – happier teams and customers. His focus is to help others become more successful.
