Personal Development

Spartan Experience

“One can have no smaller or greater mastery than mastery of oneself.” - Leonardo Da Vinci

Training overview

I believe that one day we travel among the stars. This belief requires major technological leaps and inspiring leaders. We are in an exceptional position to maybe play a role in one or both parts.

I aim to shape modern day warriors who challenge personal and societal paradigms and install improved ones to uplift us as individuals and as a species.

The way we do this is by consistently putting ourselves through a tough military-style bodyweight workout with sometimes seemingly impossible to accomplish exercises. Through this we build tough characters and improve knowledge of oneself which is of great value in other facets of our lives. By exposing ourselves regularly to such enduring workouts we will question what other assumptions about ourselves we hold that may not be true. - Bart van de Laar, Spartan Workout. Check this video!
